Frequently asked questions
- 01As opposed to spreading common forms of education such as Biology, History, or Algebra, we focus on teaching unconventional topics that aren’t taught in schools such as personal finance and media literacy – but are imperative to our generation’s future leaders.
- 02We understand that the two of us alone cannot learn, master, and teach so many topics. Although we each cover our strong subjects, we have created a network of talented, passionate, and selfless students who are willing to dedicate their time to this cause.
- 03Of course! We are always on the lookout for new subjects to teach at Youthology. If you have any suggestions, feel free to reach out and contact us at youthologylearning@gmail.com!
- 04Please take a look at the "Volunteer" portion of our website, it details all the necessary information in becoming a mentor!
- 05It's not hard at all! The form we require you to fill out only consists of a few integral questions to determine whether or not you're suitable for the role. Students with prior experience may take precedent over students without, depending on the class. However, if you're truly passionate about the subject, we encourage everyone to try becoming a mentor!
- 06Yes, of course you can! We encourage all previous students who have successfully completed the course to sign up to become a teacher for new students. For previous students, please request a recommendation letter from your course teacher so we can get to know you a little better.
